RAM to Provide Macy's Parade with 70 Trucks and Commercial Vans

With Thanksgiving around the corner, the holiday season is nearly upon us. One of the staple traditions of the fourth Thursday in November is the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. As part of the upcoming #RamGivesThanks promotion, which honors local volunteers and small businesses, Ram has announced their partnership with the parade, which will see approximately 70 trucks in service at the festivities.

More than 25 Ram trucks will tow floats, while the rest will be used to assist with functions behind the scenes of the parade, which will be seen by nearly 3.5 million spectators, and more than 50 million television viewers nationwide.

“Ram takes great pride in aligning our brand with iconic American events like the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade,” said Bob Hegbloom, Head of Ram Brand, FCA - North America. “Being the official truck of the Parade provides an excellent opportunity to showcase the style, innovation and towing capability of our 2016 Ram 1500 and 2500 trucks.”

The parade kicks off Thanksgiving day at 9:00 a.m.
